Kurtis wiped the blood from his hands and pushed the body out the passenger side of the moving truck.
He drove for almost an hour. He was almost out of gas and pulled over at a seedy looking nightclub. There was a large buzzing neon sign with its name: "The Waterin Hole" He parked in the back and went inside to hideout.
There was a loud funk band playing and drunken dancing townsfolk as far as he could see. The walls were covered in shag and smoke stained. He got a beer and sat down at the bar next to a tired, pretty looking lady.
She started talking to him. There was a charm about her. Her huge, sad eyes seemed to be calling for kurtis, a place he could hide. "My name is Mindy,"she said. Before he knew it he was drunk and told her about the carnival. She mentioned to him that as a child the Ferris wheel was her favorite thing in the world. Mindy told kurtis, "I want to ride the Ferris wheel one last time."
By now, kurtis had grown fond of her. She was being touchy now and asked him to come back to her trailer.
They got in and she unzipped Kurtis dusty trousers. His belt buckle hit the tin floor with a loud clunk.
Before he knew ,it him and Mindy were in her bedroom, pantless. He took off his crusty socks.
Soon the trailer was rocking so violently that the ball of the tow hitch almost broke against the tree under which Mindy's trailer was parked.
